 长篇影评

 1 ) 主厨人生

跟预想的完全不一样。原本期待的是关于食材,关于烹饪方式的一部《舌尖上的中国》式的纪录片,结果,这是一部讲述主厨人生故事的纪录片。

能走到自己领域的金字塔顶端是件极不容易的事,导演能够让六位大厨在镜头前展示自己最低潮最脆弱的一面,也实属难得。但我还是为有些迷惑,这样的故事放在最成功的的艺术家,最成功的的商人身上,似乎同样合乎逻辑。坚持,寻找自我,创新,这些放之四海而皆准的东西,为什么一定要选大厨呢? 如果是因为美食是跨越国界的,最容易吸引人的主题,那多放些美食嘛。

最后,看了这些大厨的作品,我最想尝试的是Niki san的创新怀石料理。

很少直接从纪录片里摘抄原句,然而看完了这一集之后的几个月,耳边总是时不时会响起这位已然登峰造极的南美大厨说过的诸多金句。 关于人生,关于成长,关于事业,关于自我,关于人际。他前半生作为主厨扬名立万,后半生与其说是主厨,更不如说是热爱食物的诗人、哲学家。面对镜头娓娓道来的几段话,想想如果换个人,连打过草稿都说不了这么好。原汁原味既以如此掷地有声,又何必再拾人牙慧打散再包装。I will simply take it down in its raw form, may these words support you through the hard moments in your life, may the wisdom beneath inspire you down the road.

 4 ) What is cooking actually

真的非常喜欢整个纪录片传达的一种追求极致的工匠精神:每个chef都是独一无二的,他们通过不同的菜品来表达自己,关于生活态度,关于对大自然的崇敬,关于女性不卑不亢的韧劲。 忽然觉得,不论你做什么事情,你都是在表达自己。你要加入你的独特,加入你的创意,加入你的思考,努力把它做好做到极致,有可能你也会成为大师。 不过我必须得说,烹饪真的是一门艺术。即使在平时生活中,能偶尔从鸡毛蒜皮的日常中抽离出来,单纯得去尝试一个新菜品,反复练习一个菜肴,这何尝不是一种生活的乐趣呢! 我想要創造的原因,是因為我真的想給予別人幫助,而非名留青史;當然,在沒有之前,做好本職,足夠的專業,同樣是給你幫助。而且創作,幫助了一波人,又會造成新的問題,但也可能那些問題的本質本來就存在,只是換種形式出現。所以,有害還是有益還不一定,隨緣吧;先成為一個踏實的人。

夸张些讲,这是我看过的最好的美食纪录片,没有之一。最精致、赏心悦目的美食配上宏伟动人的交响乐,它讲的不仅仅是美食和制作美食的过程,更重要的是对人与自然的关系的参悟,以及每一个主厨对待自己人生的态度,这种优美已经达到哲学级别,真的非常吸引人。

这部纪录片好在它关于食物,但远远不止关于食物,甚至不止关于主厨。这其实是以食物为主题的社会纪录片。我觉得Buzzfeed的worth it里high end美食的背景曲一定用古典乐是这里来的。Netflix上各类与食物有关的纪录片,非常全面了。

第三集的大厨最对我胃口,因为他的烹饪手法是我最难以抗拒的。而第二集的大厨从餐桌想到生态循环,这最令人尊敬。六位大厨如此的不同却又如此的相同,他们的共通点是:创造力、使用本地食材、与家乡有着难以分割的牵系与羁绊。
